We are overseen by a group of elders who serve as under-shepherds in knowing, feeding, protecting and caring for God’s flock.

They model Christ-like behaviour and serve the church humbly as those who will have to give an account for the church and its ministries.

Staff Team

In theory, every member of SBC is a servant of Jesus. At the same time, we appoint suitably qualified people to lead and serve in various roles within the life of our church, so that all of us can be equipped for works of service.

Fellowship Groups

Fellowship groups are small communities where we minister to each another and do life together. Our groups meet in people’s homes across Canberra. The leaders of our groups encourage their members to grow in faith and maturity, while reaching out to not-yet-believers with the message of Jesus.
